Diary of Resilence
"And honestly, the fact that you’ve kept a Florida waterfront restaurant alive for 8 years through COVID and multiple hurricanes says you’re doing something right."
These words from one of our patrons echoed in my head through every challenge and every setback. Every doubt, and every what if, has been canceled out but this simple statement. Universe has spared us, it wants us to go on and tell our story to others.
Our vision has always been clear. Best food, best service, consistency. We are a small family that in order to survive had to sacrifice everything. We did and we are stronger! Every meal, membership, and gift card helped us get there. Our community stood by us. We’ve kept our doors open, our team employed, and our kitchen full of life — because of them, our loyal guests.
Now, as we close this year, we have one goal: Start 2026 bigger than ever, and we are inviting all of you to be part of the next chapter. We offer you a piece of Blackwater, that you can take home with you. Love multiplies when shared and returned. We are returning our love to all of you!
This place has weathered more storms than most people can imagine — but we’re still here, serving the same river views, the same scratch-made food, and the same warm hospitality that built Blackwater from the start. Your support means everything — not just for me, but for every cook, server, and dishwasher who’s stood beside us through it all.
