How to Use:
1. Oiling:
When your rolling pin first arrives, don’t go washin’ it right away. Just give it a quick wipe with a damp towel, then rub a nice layer of cooking oil over the whole thing. Let it soak in, and feel free to repeat the process a couple of times. After that, one good oiling a month will keep it happy.
Our rolling pin has already been through two high-temperature treatments to chase off water and bacteria, so all it needs is a little oil love—no soaking in saltwater, no boilin’, none of that fuss. After that, you can clean it just like normal.
2. Cleaning:
Once you’re done rollin’ out dough like a kitchen pro, wash it up, then set it in a cool, breezy spot or tuck it back in its package. Keep it away from high heat—no ovens, no stovetops, no sittin’ by the fire. And don’t leave it out cookin’ in the sun either. Treat it kind, and it’ll be with you for years.
